Choose an evening when everyone can gather around the table for dinner. Make it a PowerPak night! Open your PowerPak together, look through all the activities, and let each person share what catches his or her attention. Then choose at least one activity to enjoy as a family, and add it to your calendar.

A Little Calm for Your Family This Christmas

Christmas is right around the corner! In the middle of all the excitement, the Calm & Bright PowerPak offers simple ways to help your family make the season a little more peaceful and meaningful. Choose an activity that sounds fun and fits naturally into your family’s plans.
If you have a few minutes on Christmas Eve—or whenever things calm down—grab the family devotion book and read “Have Yourself a Prayerful Little Christmas.” It’s a sweet way to pray together and remind everyone that Jesus is with us through every busy, exciting, and peaceful moment.
For Christmas morning, pull out the “Table-Time Connect” card, and add a little extra fun to breakfast—with sprinkles on top! Try it before opening gifts, after the wrapping paper has settled, or whenever your crew makes it to the table.
And sometime before New Year’s Eve, check out the “New Year’s Eve Praise Countdown” in the Family Prayers section. Your family can fill it out over dinner, in the car, or even while relaxing at home. It’s an easy way to look back and celebrate the ways God cared for you this year.
